The execution date has been rescheduled for Thursday, March
18, 2010.
1/25/2010 ~ US Supreme Court denied Powell's appeal, which
caused the stay of execution previously scheduled for July
13, 2009. We are currently awaiting another execution date
to be set.

Paul Powell was sentenced to be executed by the electric
chair, Powell's choice, on July 14, 2009. Less than thirty
six hours prior to his execution, the U.S. Supreme Court
stayed Powell's execution, based on his appeal. Currently,
we are awaiting the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court.
